Solcium Solar Awarded Seminole County Business Award

Crystal Trophy honoring Solcium Solar for "2022 Large Business of the Year" presented by the Seminole County Chamber of Commerce.

(SANFORD, FL) – Solcium Solar, a privately-owned renewable energy company headquartered in historic downtown Sanford, Fla., was presented with the award for Best Large Business 2022 at the annual award ceremony for Seminole Business Awards hosted by Seminole County Chamber of Commerce. 

Sifting through hundreds of nominations, judges from outside of the Orlando metropolitan area selected 70 finalists, categorized within the following qualifications:

  • Fastest-Growing
  • Biggest Job Creator
  • Small Business
  • Large Business
  • Non-profit
  • Minority-owned Business
  • Woman-owned Business

Solcium Solar was named a finalist in the fastest-growing, large business, minority-owned and woman-owned categories, taking home the trophy as Seminole County’s Best Large Business.

The Seminole County Chamber’s Business Awards celebrates organizations that are committed to making a difference in the community and contributing efforts to grow the economy within Seminole County and the surrounding region. Candidates for this prestigious award come from a variety of industries with a wide-array of visions and missions. Finalists are not aware of which categories they qualified, nor do they know the qualifications for each category.

Owners Michelle Solano and Gustavo Panosso accepted the award on behalf of Solcium Solar with Barbara Gritter, EVP of Operations and Shelly Allen, Director of Public Relations present to lend support and applause.
